The brief: Cover AFC’s annual continental club competition via official social media platforms and website including live match coverage, branded visuals, always-on video and editorial content.
Backheel Media ran the AFC’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook platforms for the 2019-2021 editions of the AFC Cup for the EAST and ASEAN regions.
During the knockout stages of the 2019 tournament we were on-ground in Vietnam working with our network of videographers and social media content specialists to create a series of mobile and short-form video content.
In addition to video, on-the-ground, and remote coverage, our team of team of designers also developed concepts, graphics and layouts for everything from player birthdays to match day schedules, and everything in between to increase fan engagement on AFC's social media channels.
Along with engaging written content and one-of-a-kind graphic design, we have also filmed several different series on location for the AFC including fan spotlights and stadium showcases, as well as remote videos highlighting the best goals in tournament history.
